Environment Reports
Commitments made in the Environmental Assessment, Environmental Study Report, and other documents were established through engagement and supported by the Guiding Principles. The Environmental Assessment and Environmental Study Report are an outcome of 10 years of engagement. Wataynikaneyap Power is led by First Nations, and the transmission system has a large footprint including remote areas that have not seen major infrastructure projects. As a result, the documents contain around 1,200 regulatory commitments, compared to an average of 500 for similar projects.
