Environmental Monitoring Field Surveys
An Indigenous Knowledge Holder will be a member of the field crew during the below survey activities.
Caribou Range Surveys
- Survey three caribou ranges (2027, 2028, 2030) to determine the presence of caribou, prey, and predators within the ranges.
Caribou Winter Aerial Surveys
- Once per year (2025, 2026, 2029, 2034, 2039) to determine the presence of caribou, prey and predators within the winter use habitat during the winter use period.
Caribou Summer Ground Nursery Surveys
- Once per year (2025, 2026, 2029, 2034, 2039) to determine the presence of adult female and/or calf caribou, prey and predators within the nursery habitat during the nursery period.
