Elder’s Teaching

Kanawayandan D’Aaki is Anishininiwag Land Ethic. It is how, in the correct manner, humans should regard the land. This is not something about which we have a choice. It is a responsibility that Anishininiwag have been entrusted by The Creator. Kanawayandan D’Aaki is not about posturing, but protecting the Peoples, the Land, the Culture, the Environment, the Language and the Way of Life for those yet unborn.
