Frank Mckay
Chair Sachigo Lake First Nation Exoficio (non-voting member) of 2472881 Ontario Limited

Frank has over 40 years of professional experience working with First Nations on issues including health and addictions, housing and infrastructure, economic development and energy. After several years working in the health and addictions field, Frank went on to serve as the Executive Director for Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) Legal Services until he was elected to the Windigo First Nations Council (WFNC) in 2004. In his 20 years as Chair and CEO for the Windigo First Nations Council, Frank has been a strong advocate and negotiator for the protection of the Aboriginal and Treaty rights of the people in the Windigo First Nations territory.

Michael Comerford
Director, Planning & Supply Newfoundland Power Inc.

Michael joined Newfoundland Power in 2007 as Controls and Automation Engineer. He is currently the Director, Planning and Supply, and his responsibilities include management of Newfoundland Power’s customer, energy and demand forecast, rate design and load research, and system planning. Michael is from St. John’s and holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Memorial University. He is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Glen King
President & CEO FortisOntario Inc.

Glen joined the Fortis Group of Companies in 1995 as the Vice President, Finance with Fortis Trust Corporation. Glen has over 35 years of experience in the industry. He sits on several Board of Directors, including FortisOntario Inc., Canadian Niagara Power Inc., Cornwall Street Railway, Light and Power Company Limited, Algoma Power Inc., Wataynikaneyap Power GP Inc., Wataynikaneyap Power PM Inc., Fortis (WP) GP Inc., Newfoundland Power and Grimsby Power Inc. Glen holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Memorial University of Newfoundland and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.

Harry Meekis
Sandy Lake First Nation

Harry served 16 years on the Sandy Lake First Nation council, including six years as Councillor and 10 years as Deputy Chief. He was instrumental in the development of a complete water and sewage project, Generating Station, Health Centre with Marten Falls, and the Pikangikum / Beren’s River Bridge Project. Harry has previously worked for Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) in the role of Health Director and has been a community liaison on behalf of the Nishnawbe Aski Development Fund (NADF).
