Wataynikaneyap has submitted its Final Environmental Assessment Report for the Phase 1 New Transmission Line to Pickle Lake Project to the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) for review and approval. The MOECC is seeking comments on the Final Environmental Assessment Report and members of Aboriginal communities and groups, the public, and agencies, are encouraged to actively participate in the review of the Final Report.
As required under the Environmental Assessment Act, the environmental assessment will be available for public review and comment for a seven week period from November 3 - December 22, 2017. You may review the environmental assessment during normal business hours at the locations listed below in the Notice of Submission:

Anyone wishing to provide comments on the environmental assessment must submit their comments in writing, email and/or by fax to the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) by December 22, 2017 (contact information provided in the notice above). A copy of all comments will be forwarded by the MOECC to Wataynikaneyap for its consideration.
